ExesoR Machine SR500

After his successful CB250 Café Racer, Christian Schwarzenlander was looking for another donor bike. This time his idea was to build a motorcycle with a touch of “Dieselpunk”. He got a SR500 from a friend for only 200 euro. It was completely disassembled and even the engine was taken apart, but it was 90% complete and no important parts were missing...

Dopo il successo della CB250 Cafè Racer, Christian Schwarzenlander stava cercando un'altra moto da preparare. Questa volta l'idea era quella di realizzare una moto con un tocco "Dieselpunk". Ha trovato un SR500 da un amico a soli 200 euro. Era completamente smontata, motore compreso, ma c'era il 90% di quel che serviva a ricostruirla e non mancavano parti importanti...




The tank and the rest of the bodywork were entirely replaced using untreated aluminum parts. The fairing was manufactured in Thailand by our good friend Omega Racer but it was also modified by “Blechmann”. Bernhard Naumann alias “Blechmann” is not a newbie in the custom bike scene. He was the builder of the “Walton” – a Norton-engined chopper that took fifth place at the European Championship of Custom Bike Building in Germany and 6th at the Sturgis World Championship in 2010. Christian admits that his knowledge was essential for the result of the ExesoR Machine and told me that during the project a friendship was born.

Serbatoio e resto della carrozzeria sono stati interamente sostituiti con parti in alluminio non trattato. Il cupolino è stata acquistato in Tailandia dal nostro buon amico Omega Racer, ma è stato modificato da "Blechmann". Bernhard Naumann, alias "Blechmann", non è un principiante sulla scena del custom. E' il costruttore della "Walton" - un chopper con motore Norton  che ha conseguito il quinto posto al Campionato Europeo di Custom Bike Building in Germania e il sesto al Campionato mondiale di Sturgis del 2010. Christian ammette che le sue competenze sono state essenziali per realizzare la ExesoR Machine e mi ha raccontato che nel corso del progetto è nata un'amicizia.

Omega Racer gas tank with custom filler cap. Custom seat and tail by Blechmann, vintage leather upholstery. Omega Racer fairing, modified by Blechmann. Custom headlight and tail light. Custom in-frame indicators. Daytona gauge. Simplified electrics. Special sleeved cables.
