"Finally, I got to the Land of Fire. It offers the same landscapes of Patagonia desert but with two differences: it is really cold and the wind is a machine gun that slashes you each side. Driving is much more difficult, especially if you cross a truck. I can not describe the way, but you have to hold the handlebar very tight and keep your head as straight as possible. This land was named Land of Fire by the first explorers who saw fires everywhere, lit by the natives to warm themselves ... I'm just wondering how did they keep the fire burning with all this wind... Just few kilometers to the end of the world, but I know that they will be very hard". 

"Terra del fuoco, finalmente. Offre gli stessi paesaggi della Patagonia desertica ma con due differenze: fa davvero freddo e il vento è una mitraglia che ti sferza da ogni lato. Guidare è molto più difficile soprattutto se incroci un camion. Non so descrivere, ma devi stare attaccato al manubrio e tenere la testa dritta per quanto possibile. È stata chiamata così perché i primi esploratori vedevano fuochi ovunque, accesi dai nativi per scaldarsi... Mi chiedo solo come facevano a tenere il fuoco acceso con tutto questo vento... Mancano pochi km alla fin del mundo, pochi ma già so che saranno molto duri".
