The Marlin or the Mackarel?

A very nice 2006 Bonnie, latest by FMW... "U' Sgombro" ("The Mackerel")... 

Oh, sorry, I meant "The Marlin"

Giacomo Di Stefano is a 26 y.o. sales agent and lives in Ancona. He bought this bike two years ago and brought her to Fugar Metal Worker. Lorenzo Fugaroli pinstriped the fuel tank with an awesome optical colour scheme, handmade the rest of the aluminum bodywork and the custom exhausts in order to make this Bonnie a blast by the next Conero Mountain classic motorcycles’ reunion, better known as the Conerock, this June. Since he was a child, Giacomo has practiced sailing at a competitive level. His passion for the sea, the slender shape of the bike, her silver color and the blue stripes on the tank, inspired him to name "Marlin" his Bonnie... Although the irreverent Fugar would have called her "Mackerel”. Whatever is the name, at the Conerock, I’m sure that the Marlin will attract admiring glances of many fellow riders. 

Giacomo Di Stefano é un agente di commercio, ha 26 anni e vive ad Ancona. Ha comprato questa moto due anni fa e l’ha portata da Fugar Metal Metal Worker. Lorenzo Fugaroli ne ha verniciato il serbatoio con un originalissimo motivo optical e ne ha plasmato la carrozzeria e lo scarico in alluminio battuto a mano, con l’obiettivo di fargli fare la giusta figura al prossimo motoraduno di modern classic del Conero, meglio noto a tutti come Conerock. Fin da piccolo, Giacomo ha praticato la vela a livello agonistico. La sua passione per il mare, la forma slanciata del mezzo, il colore argento e le righe del serbatoio, lo hanno ispirato nel dare il nome "Marlin" alla sua Bonnie… Anche se quell’irriverente del Fugar l'avrebbe voluta chiamare “U' Sgombro”. Qualunque sia il nome, al Conerock di giugno, sono sicuro che questo ferro attrarrà gli sguardi ammirati di chissà quanti riders.
