1981 CX500C monoshock conversion; "Super Vixen" by Cafe Twin in Rome

This bike has been built as a tribute to the American film director Russ Meyer: producer, screenwriter, cinematographer, film editor, actor and photographer. Meyer was known primarily for writing and directing successful sexploitation films that featured campy humor, sly satire and large-breasted women. Don't you find that the V-heads of this bike remind a large breast of a woman?  And the popflake paint, the soft tires and the typical aggressive irreverence of the modified frame? A two-wheeled Nudie-Cutie. Who wouldn't take a ride with SuperVixen? Who doesn't like the 60s? Out of the classic schemes, without rules, rebellious... to quote Russ, a "MOTORPSYCO" bike! The bike features: Bitubo rear mono-shock absorber, 52mm upside-down fork, Brembo double calipers on Braking floating discs, billet triple plate and LSL clip on bars. The electrics has been simplified and concealed. Instruments and ignition system are Motogadget. The start is wireless. The tailpiece, the seat and the subframe were handmade. The tailor-made Mass Hotrod exhaust system and the black paintwork of engine and rims complete the line and the philosophy of this build... Cool!

Questa moto vuole essere un tributo al regista statunitense Russ Meyer: sceneggiatore, montatore, direttore della fotografia, attore, produttore cinematografico e fotografo. Tutta la sua produzione cinematografica è stata caratterizzata dalla satira e dal senso dell'umorismo. I suoi film erano pieni di sesso e violenza, ma sempre in chiave divertente. Le teste a V della CX non vi ricordano forse le tette di una procace pin up? E la verniciatura Pop Flakes, i morbidi pneumatici e la tipica irriverenza aggressiva della rivisitata ciclistica? Una Nudie-Cutie a due ruote. Chi non si farebbe un giro sulla SuperVixen? Chi non ricorda con con nostalgia gli anni 60? Fuori dagli schemi classici, senza regole, ribelle, una moto, sempre per citare Russ, per "MOTORPSYCO!" Sono molteplici i lavori eseguiti per questa trasformazione: Mono-ammortizzatore posteriore Bitubo, forcelle a steli rovesciati da 52mm, doppie pinze Brembo su dischi flottanti Braking, piastre di sterzo ricavate dal pieno e semimanubri LSL. L'impianto elettrico è stato semplificato e occultato. Strumentazione e sistema di accensione sono Motogadget. L'avviamento è wireless. Il telaietto posteriore con sella monoposto sono stati fatti a mano. Gli scarichi completi Mass Hotrod commissionati su misura e la verniciatura nera di motore e cerchi completano la linea e la filosofia di questa Honda... Fica!
