David Gonzales of Ad Hoc café racers from Barcellona has been so kind to send me some new shots of its excellent #2, this Honda CB 750. The base is a CB 750 Nighthawk, custom version of the European Seven-fifty. From this basis David took the center of the chassis and the engine, cut the subframe to build a new one with a closer angle modifying the anchors of exhausts and footpegs. All of this was sandblasted and dustpainted. The swingarm was replaced with a seven-fifty. A GSX-R 750 inverted fork was installed at front-end. The wheels are from a Ducati GT 1000. The exhaust collectors are the original ones with a Megaphone muffler. The body was provided by David’s friends at Europlast using articles which weren’t’ t yet in their catalogue: reference is Honda Endurance. The seat came from a Bultaco TSS and properly customized. In the classic racing fairing David embedded a mini-lighthouse, but a naked version can be easily made. This bike is currently on sale, if interested, you can contact David through Facebook for more details.
