SC-Rumble by Vibrazioni Art Design

Her name is SC-Rumble and has just been introduced at the Bike Shed in London last week-end.

Si chiama “SC-Rumble” ed è stata presentata il week-end scorso al “Bike Shed” di Londra.

The bike is born as a joint project between Pirelli and Ducati. Like the Ducati Scrambler which is used as donor bike, it is equipped with Pirelli MT 60 RS tires. On both sides of the fuel tank there is a rubber sheet, laser engraved, that matches the design of the tires and the logo Ducati Scrambler. Let's face it: it took a massive dose of old good metal to turn this plasticky Ducati entry level in a mean scrambler worthy of the glorious name of the historical ancestor. And let's face it frankly, thank goodness there are those who, in Italy, have a talent for original custom transformations, as Vibrazioni Art Design. A workshop which Inazuma Cafe introduced among the first (and perhaps the very first ever on the web) when their project was at the very beginning (*). 

La moto nasce da un progetto congiunto Pirelli e Ducati. Come la Ducati Scrambler che è stata utilizzata come base, la moto è equipaggiata con pneumatici Pirelli MT 60 RS. Sui due lati del serbatoio ha rispettivamente una lastra in gomma, incisa al laser, che riprende il disegno del battistrada delle coperture di primo equipaggiamento ed il logo Scrambler Ducati. Diciamocelo francamente: ci voleva una massiccia dose di metallo per trasformare questa plasticosa Ducati entry level in una scrambler ignorante degna del glorioso nome della storica antenata. E diciamocelo francamente, meno male che c’è chi, in Italia, ha talento per trasformazioni originali, come Vibrazioni Art Design di Ravenna, di cui Inazuma Cafe parlò tra i primi (e forse per primo in assoluto sul web) alle origini del loro progetto motociclistico (*).
