Yamaha has taken care of the Sport Heritage segment in the last years, being a key player on the market in offering easy to customise factory motorcycles.
The same policy has been a real success for Triumph and, more recently, for BMW. Ducati seems now following the example (it was about time!). From the hype generated in the custom/retro bike sector Yamaha’s first ‘Faster Son’ was born, a natural evolution of its Sport Heritage bike building philosophy. Part of this project has been the great Shinya Kimura, and this is the teaser… We like when majors behave this way… Provided that riders have not to pay the price of the promotion… 

Yamaha ha curato il segmento delle modern classic negli ultimi anni, giocando un ruolo chiave sul mercato e proponendo moto facilmente customizzabili. La stessa politica è stata un vero successo per Triumph e, più recentemente, per BMW Motorrad. Ducati sembra stia finalmente seguendo l'esempio (era ora!). Dall’interesse generato generato nel settore delle moto retro/classic è nato il primo “Figlio più veloce”, naturale evoluzione della sua filosofia costruttiva sport classic. Parte di questo progetto è stato il grande Shinya Kimura, e questo è il teaser... Ci piace quando le major si comportano in questo modo ... Sempre che i motociclisti non siano chiamati a pagare i costi della promozione...
