Triumph Rocket 3... Racer, by Michael Hammer

Last Winter this Rocket 3 was turned into a cafe racer by the German custom garage Hammer Kraftrad with a lot of attention to details and using several handmade parts. What once was a cruiser became a heavy roadster with a racing appearance. While the powerful presence of the motorcycle was maintained, other attributes like handling were opimized. The foot rests were placed further in the back, a superbike handlebar was added while Wilbers shock absorbers gave the bike a great riding comfort. Performance wise the motor was pushed further due to a new air intake with K&N air filters and a Zard exhaust system. On the performance test bench all of the electronic throttles were removed and the engine was tuned to the maximum torque. Working with aluminum is Michael Hammer's speciality so the entirebodywork were handmade. The paintwork is a tribute to the legendary Lotus racing cars and to Great Britain, home of the Triumph Rocket. The custom bike is perfectly street legal and certified by the German authority TÜV.
