1974 Austin/Mini Mk3 - 3.2 lt Super Cooper S #1
When a V6 3.2 litres Acura engine is rear mounted in a 700 kilograms Classic Mini the result is quite impressive. The factory engine was designed to propel the 1800 kg CL sedan to 60 in 6.8 seconds and reached a (governor limited) top speed of 146mph. The Acura SOHC 24-valve V-6, aluminum block and heads, produces 260 bhp and 232 lb-ft of torque at 3500 rpm, and achieving over 20mpg.
