More than 100 HP/ litre was a really good ratio in the 60’s. The K0 four-speed model was also known as “Black Bomber” because of its distinctive large chrome-sided fuel tank with the same common family styling used by Honda on the S90 and CD175 models. The K1 model, introduced in 1968, had five speed and a different bodywork. Cliff Overton found this K0 in USA by chance in a swap and meet, he brought it back home in Australia, where he lives, and restored and customized it exactly the way you can see in these beautiful pics by Tony Starr. Cliff named the bike the Runcible Racer. It was one of the hero bikes at the Tank Moto Magazine launch party, held in May 2013. And of course, one the featured motorcycles in the premier issue of the magazine.

La CB450 è stata la prima "grande" moto Honda. Il primo modello apparve nel 1965. Aveva un bicilindrico fronte marcia di 444cc, manovellismo a 180°, doppio albero a camme in testa e circa 45 cavalli di potenza (oltre 100 CV / litro era davvero una buona Potenza specifica negli anni 60). Il modello K0 quattro marce prese il nome di Black Bomber a causa del suo grande serbatoio carburante dai fianchi cromati con lo stesso stile utilizzato dalla Honda sui modelli S90 e CD175. Il modello K1, introdotto nel 1968, aveva cinque marce ed una carrozzeria diversa. Cliff Overton ha trovato questa K0 in USA per caso in uno swap e meet, l’ha portata a casa in Australia, dove vive, restaurata e personalizzata esattamente come si può vedere in queste belle foto di Tony Starr. Cliff ha chiamato la sua moto Runcible Racer. Lo scorso maggio, è stata una delle moto più ammirate al party di inaugurazione di Tank Moto Magazine. E, naturalmente, una delle moto in vetrina nel primo numero della rivista.
